Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small file a site leaves in your browser and reads back later, sometimes through a third party. Browser storage does the same job without travelling: what a page writes there stays on your device unless a script sends it somewhere. Both are covered by the same rule — anything not strictly needed to give you what you asked for needs your permission first.

Supervisory authorities sort them into four buckets. Here is where MarketSaves actually stands in each one, today:

The shop itself sets no cookies of its own at all: what it needs it keeps in local storage, readable only by the pages of marketsaves.com, on the country offer pages as everywhere else. The site is run by WHATECH MOBILE CO., LIMITED; how personal data are handled in general is set out in the Privacy Policy.

These provide the service you asked for, so the law does not require consent for them. None holds an advertising identifier, and the entries themselves never leave your browser. The first three are used across the shop; the last two only on the country offer pages.

One more thing is necessary and is not stored at all: when the order or contact form loads, the page asks for a one-time token that proves the submission came from this site. It lives in the memory of the open page, expires within a day and is never written to your browser's storage.

All of them are read only by this site: no outside script runs with the order form, and nothing about your browser is worked out on the page. Fake orders are recognised on our own server, from the IP address the order came from and basic details of the browser, as the Privacy Policy says.

This category covers anything that remembers how you like the shop — a language, a layout, a list of things you looked at. We have declared one key for it and we are not writing it yet.

The cookie card shows no preferences switch for that reason. On the day the feature is turned on, a switch appears, it starts in the off position, and this page names what it writes before anything is written.

Nothing is set for statistics. This shop runs no analytics product — no Google Analytics, no visitor counter of our own, no session recording, no heat map, no A/B testing tool. Page views are counted only in the hosting platform's own server-side figures, which are totals and carry no cookie.

The "Statistics" switch in the card stays because the Google tag asks for an answer on audience measurement (its analytics storage signal, see Consent Mode below): the switch passes your answer on and loads nothing by itself. Any measurement tool we add later will be listed here, with what it writes and for how long, before it is allowed to run, and it will run only for visitors who have put this switch on.

We advertise on Google. To learn whether an advert led to an order, and to show adverts again to people who have visited the shop, Google uses the cookies below. Not one of them is set unless you choose "Accept all" or switch "Advertising" on.

When you complete an order, the confirmation page reports it a single time: the value in euro, the currency and an order reference. Your name, your phone number and your address are never part of it, and there is no payment data to report, since the courier takes cash.

On the country offer pages the report is made from the thank-you page, in the currency of the offer, and one key of our own keeps it to a single report:

Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland — privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. It may pass data to its parent company in the United States under the safeguards described in the Privacy Policy. The advertising accounts these tags report to are in the name of WHATECH MOBILE CO., LIMITED, which pays for them and answers for them.

The Google tag on this site is configured with Google Consent Mode v2, and its default is denial. Every one of the four signals — ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage — is set to denied before the first line of the tag runs, and it changes only when you say so.

While denied, the tag is restricted: it writes no cookies, reads none, and cannot recognise your browser on a later visit. Advertising identifiers are redacted from anything it sends. What may still leave the page is a cookieless ping — that a page was opened or, on a thank-you page, that an order was completed and for how much, with the browser type and country — which Google uses for aggregate modelling and which identifies nobody.

Choose "Reject all" and the denied state simply stays. Choose "Accept all", or put the advertising switch on, and a consent update lifts the restriction from that moment forward — never retroactively.

Your answer is kept for 12 months. When it reaches that age it stops counting as an answer: the card comes back, everything optional returns to off until you decide again, and your new answer starts a fresh 12 months. You are never asked twice within that period unless you ask for the card yourself.

To change it sooner, use "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page, or the button below. It reopens the card with your current settings in it, and the new answer applies from that moment.

Switching advertising off stops the tags writing or reading anything further, but cookies already on your machine stay there until they expire or you delete them. To be rid of them at once, clear the cookies for this site in your browser.

Every browser can list, block and delete cookies and site data, usually under Settings, then Privacy or Site data. The keys on this page can be deleted there one by one. Delete mks_consent_v1 and the cookie card will greet you on your next visit. A private or incognito window throws the lot away when you close it.

Google also keeps advert settings inside your account with it, where personalised advertising can be limited across every site at once, not only this one.
